One of the perks of having our Click Mentality office right on Broadway in Denver is getting a front-row seat to events like the Broadway Halloween Parade. On Saturday, October 17, we stepped outside to watch the street come alive with Halloween costumes, floats, music, and some incredibly creative people. It's not every day you get to watch a parade right outside your office. No driving across town, no searching for parking. Just step outside and enjoy the show. And that's exactly what we did.
There was a lot to enjoy this year, but a couple of groups really stood out to me. The Ghostbusters were definitely one of my favorites. I've always enjoyed the movies, so seeing them make their way down Broadway was pretty cool. Then there was Bella Diva World Dance, and wow, what a talented group of performers. Their dancing, costumes, and energy were impressive. You could tell they put a lot of work into their performance, and they were genuinely fun to watch. It's those kinds of moments that make the parade more than just a bunch of people walking down the street in costumes.
Now, I have to admit, there was one group I was really hoping to see. The Raccoon City Security team from Resident Evil. If you're familiar with the games or movies, you know exactly why that would be a fun addition to a Halloween parade. I kept watching for them, but unfortunately, they didn't make an appearance this year. At least not while we were out there. Was I a little disappointed? Absolutely. But between the Ghostbusters, Bella Diva, and all the other creative costumes and floats, there was still plenty to keep us entertained. Maybe Raccoon City will make a comeback next year.
Until Next Year, Broadway!
I took quite a few pictures throughout the evening, and I've included some of my favorites below. If you haven't experienced the parade yet, I'd definitely recommend checking it out next year. You can also follow Broadway Halloween on Instagram for updates, photos, and information about future events. Hopefully, we'll see the Ghostbusters again next year. And maybe, just maybe, Raccoon City will finally show up.
