Click Mentality Gives Back Through the Ron Davies VFW Airlift

This past Sunday, the Click Mentality team had the honor of taking part in one of Colorado’s most meaningful aviation traditions. Alongside FYIN, we helped fly food to Cortez, Colorado, and personally delivered it to the local VFW to support veterans and families during the holiday season.

Paragraph 2

This effort was part of the 15th Annual Ron Davies Memorial VFW Airlift, an event that brings together pilots, aircraft owners, and volunteers from across the state with one shared goal. Help Colorado communities in need through generosity, teamwork, and service.

A Tradition Built on Service and Community

Paragraph 3

The Ron Davies Memorial VFW Airlift is organized in partnership with the Colorado Aviation Business Association and Tallgrass. Each year, pilots volunteer their time and aircraft to transport food and toys to VFW posts throughout the state of Colorado. These deliveries help ensure veterans and their families have support during the holidays, especially in communities that are harder to reach by ground.

For us, this was more than a delivery. It was a reminder of how powerful it is when people come together with a shared purpose.

Why This Matters to Click Mentality and FYIN

Paragraph 4

At Click Mentality and FYIN, we believe growth is about more than business metrics. It’s about showing up, giving back, and contributing to something bigger than ourselves. Being part of this airlift reflects the values we strive to live by year-round. Service, integrity, and community come first.

Flying food to Cortez and delivering it directly to the VFW allowed us to connect with the mission in a real and personal way. Seeing the impact firsthand reinforced why events like this matter, especially during the holidays.

Holiday Spirit in Action

Paragraph 5

The holiday season is about generosity, gratitude, and connection. The Ron Davies Memorial VFW Airlift captures that spirit perfectly. Pilots volunteer their resources. Organizers coordinate with care. Communities come together with appreciation and support.

We’re grateful to have played a small role in this tradition and to stand alongside so many others who give their time and energy to help veterans and families across Colorado.

Thank You to Everyone Involved

Paragraph 6

A sincere thank you to the Colorado Aviation Business Association, Tallgrass, Independence Aviation, the VFW, and every pilot and volunteer who made this event possible. Your commitment keeps this tradition alive and makes a meaningful difference for communities throughout the state.

From all of us at Click Mentality and FYIN, we’re honored to be part of this effort and look forward to continuing to give back whenever we can.
